Step by Step - Starting Your School Ad Radio Service
|
Step 1. Evaluate & Price |
|
Step
2. Request Quote & Contract
The total number of participating schools will determine your overall cost for set-up, installation and monthly service. A quotation and purchase/service agreement will then drafted for your review and signing. Note: The cost for setting up & running a single School Ad Radio site for one year - is LOWER than the national average of 20% as published in the 1999 book - "Fund-Raising: Evaluating and Managing the Fund Development Process" by James Greenfield. Even more impressive, the cost of operation will be less in the following years, as the equipment was procured in the first year. |

Step 3. Procure & Receive Your equipment will arrive in about 10 working days via UPS after your contract has been signed, and your deposit received. Schools within the greater San Antonio area will receive their equipment via a Media-Alternatives representative. Step 4. Equipment & Set-Up Step 5. Create-Copy-Publish-Distribute-Advertise By now you have received the customized sponsorship form for your School Ad Radio program, and should be broadcasting our provided temporary program on your selected channel. You'll now want to post some small signs in your parking lots and on the street where parents line-up in their cars during the AM and PM waits. Display your FM channel on your school marquee (see marquee samples). You'll also want to advertise your radio station continually in all school print media, handouts, and on the school and district web site. Step 6. First Script/Obtain Sponsors With steps 1 thru 5 completed and/or underway, you'll want to begin seeking your sponsors and send to us the news script/copy for your first ever School Ad Radio program! Our program allows your school to broadcast up to twenty-four different School Ad Radio productions per year!! News scripts consist of up to 6 different school news messages (each news message/paragraph no longer than 120 words). Step 7. On The Air!
